Bangles also called as CHOODI, Bangles are traditional ornaments mostly by South Asian side womens in India, Pakistan,Bangladesh and many other cities.
It is tradition that the married girl will try to wear  many glass bangles at her marriage time and in the honeymoon time will end when the last bangle breaks. Bangles also have a very traditional value in Hindu religion and it is considered to be bare armed for a married girl or a women. Bangles made by gold or silver are preferred for toddlers.

There is one type of bangle which is wear by mens that call it as kadda.Bangles are wear in arm or wrist. In Sikhism there is a tradition that father of a Sikh bride will give the groom a gold ring, a kadda , and a mohra.

Chooda is a kind of bangle that is wear by Punjabi women on her wedding time. It is a set of white and red bangles. 

Bangles are circular in shape, are not flexible. The word is comes from Hindi bungri. They are made of numerous precious as well as non-precious materials such as gold, silver, platinum, glass, plastic.
